Welcome to IHPBA mid term meet
Aug 23,24

Respected Teachers, Seniors, and Dear Colleagues,

Greetings from the organizing team of the IHPBA Mid-term meeting at AIIMS, New Delhi, scheduled for August 23rd (Saturday) and 24th (Sunday), 2025.

We are initiating the faculty drive a month in advance, keeping in mind that multiple meetings are taking place around the same time.

We would be truly honored if you could join us for this academic gathering. Kindly go through the program and share your preferred sessions (at least five), listed in order of priority, so that we can finalize your assignments and send a formal invitation at the earliest.

We also request you to suggest the names of some newer faculty members along with their preferred topics for inclusion in the program.

The structure of each session will be similar to the IASG mid-term last year, focusing on techniques in HPB surgeries, particularly in difficult scenarios, with the following format:

  • Convener: Manages all stage proceedings

  • Director: Starts, conducts, coordinates, discusses, and concludes the session, sharing personal experiences

  • Speakers: 3–4 (15–20 minutes each, focusing exclusively on technique)

  • Panelists: 3–4 (provide comments and share one case from their experience, preferably with slides, for 2–3 minutes each)

We are glad to share that we have already received consent from over 50 faculty members from across India.

In our endeavor to include a greater number of faculty members within limited resources, we humbly request you to kindly inform us if you would be able to arrange partial or full sponsorship from your institution (especially government institutes) regarding travel and accommodation expenditure. This would be of immense help to the organizing team.
